Anthropology: Syrian Civil War and the Impact of United States Involvement

A deafening explosion tears open the sky and four American fighter planes soar above Raqqa, a city devastated by the Syrian Civil War. The children of the city have learned that seconds after this sound, bombs desolate entire buildings and leave craters in the streets.
